"A PACKER'S VIEW"
As "Artist of the Quarter" 1994 Fall issue of Bugle, this print was an immediate sellout. It was published by the RMEF (Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation) and the majority of the prints were distributed among their Chapters for auction.
The title was chosen for it's double meaning: The actual view of the bone-pile. And then the point of view of a sportsman - i.e. A beautiful animal that could have been used and then preserved to grace the wall of a den or Museum for many others to view and enjoy. Instead, this winter-kill trophy gets eaten by crows & coyotes, and his magnificent horns gnawed away by mice and porcupines.
