"LATENT MONARCH" The first time I saw an elk working on his back like this I thought there was something wrong with him. After watching thousands of elk for long periods of time, I now realize that they really just enjoy it, and they all seem to get the itch. This was the first painting I felt was good enough to publish. Originally I ran an Edition of 1000, but only released the first 500 after standardizing with smaller edition sizes on my next two prints. All of my Editions are (and always will be) strictly limited to 500 or less. This allows for the same degree of collectability. Image Size: 16 x 20________________________________________Limited Ed.
