"GOLDEN MORNING"


Originally titled "Ole Foghorn", this painting was done the year I heard the absolute worse bugle I've come across in over 30 years. After trying to work around this "amateur caller" all day long, he moved in on us yet again, this time running off a bull that had come within 50 yards. I was about to confront this other "hunter" and suggest he stay away from us, when he confronted us. I had been avoiding the biggest bull on the mountain just because he sounded like a foghorn - NEVER again !!
