This lot is of two original antique reverse paintings that were used on antique shelf clocks. The top painting of geometic patterns with colors that are still quite vibrant has flaking which appears to have been reshellaced to prevent further flaking. The flaking does not appear to be very noticeable when the glass is in the clock. It measures 5 3/4" in width and 3 7/16" high. This is an antique J. Boss 14K gold-filled, engraved, hunter-style pocket watch case. It is in good condition with some wear and some dents. The engraving is thin. It has the Boss trademark. It was originally guaranteed for 25 years which means it would take 25 years for the base metal to come through. The serial number 7409614 is inscribed on the front, back and inner plates. The crystal and ring are not present. The front hinge pin needs repair or replacing. The case measures 43.25mm and appears to fit a #16S pocket watch movement. This is a micro-mini quartz movement made in Germany. There is a rear hand set knob. It measures 2 1/8" in diameter and 5/8" in depth. The overall shaft length is 1/4" and the shaft diameter is 3/16". There are three mounting holes for screws and the hour and minute hands are included. Hands may vary from those in the photo. This is an antique Elgin open-face pocket watch. The silver dial would benefit from a cleaning. The raised gold numerals and hands are in good condition but could use a cleaning as well. The seconds bit is missing and there is no crystal. The 17 jewel, adjusted, pendant-set nickel plated movement with damaskeening is signed ELGIN NAT'L WATCH Co. U.S.A. The serial number is 33544571 which dates the movement to 1931 and is Elgin's model #10. The balance staff appears to be broken. The watch size is 12s. The case is a Keystone J. This is a very attractive antique pendulum that was used on antique shelf, kitchen and parlor clocks. It is an unusual design and not one seen on standard mass-produced American clocks. The original color was bronze/copper which is now mostly worn away. The center insert was replaced some time ago as the wood shim indicates. This is a vintage pocket watch pendant set movement and dial. The movement has a trademark of two stars above an anchor within a shield. The pure white porcelain dial is in splendid condition with just a tiny chip on the outer edge of the dial above the 1:00 position and a hardly visible one in the seconds indicator by the 5. All the enameled numbers, minute marks and seconds indicator are outstanding. The hour hand has broken off but the gold minute hand and seconds sweep are in very good condition. This is an old lead pendulum used on Ingraham and other antique kitchen and parlor clocks. It appears to be original, but it is hard to determine. The most significant of these is just above the seconds dial near the 5 seconds position. The black numerals, minute markers and dial signature are in very good condition. The dial is signed Am. Watch Co. WALTHAM. There are no hands or stem. The balance staff is broken and there is no hairspring. The serial number is 3721404 which dates the watch to 1887. The dial plate measures 30.62mm. This is an interesting original antique reverse painting that has the inscription GREENWOOD CEMETERY, ENTRANCE on the old glass. It was used in antique OG clocks. There is a considerable amount of flaking with the church virtually gone. The Europeans often depicted cemeteries in their paintings and the painting has a European flair, but it could have come from an American OG as well. This pocket watch movement and dial is a chronograph. The hallmark on the back plate appears to be Swiss. Also stamped on the back of the movement is PATENTED AUG: 29th 82. The front plate is stamped with #20695. The dial has two significant chips on the outer edge of the seconds track between the 50-60 position. There are also some hairline cracks. The movement is lever set and the lever functions properly. The stem is missing. The watch runs for several hours in the dial down position before stopping but has not been tested for time keeping. It would benefit from a thorough cleaning and is being sold for parts or restoration. The seconds sweep starts, stops and resets properly. This is a beautiful original antique gold painted pendulum with a good amount of patina that was used on antique kitchen and parlor clocks. This lot is for an assortment of five watchbands. The band at the top is a gold Speidel mens "Twist-o-Flex Jr" watchband. It is new old stock and in excellent condition. It retains its original container and is a size large. The top caps are 10K G.F. and the bottom caps are stainless. The original retail suggested price was $4.95. The next band was made by Gemex and is made from Norwegian calfskin. It is for a ladies watch and measures 6 3/4" in length. It is new old stock and comes in its original box. The third watchband is made by Speidel and is stainless steel. It is new old stock and measures 5 1/2" long and 7/16" wide. Next is a ladies stainless steel band that shows very little wear. The links open and close smoothly. It is 5 3/8" long and 5/16" wide. The last watchband was made by Admiral U.S.A. It is for a ladies watch measuring 5 1/8" long and 3/16" wide. This is a U.S. made Takane thin mini quartz movement with 16" adjustable pendulum rod, three pendulum bobs, minute and hour hands, mounting hardware and hanger. The pendulum bobs measure 3 1/2", 2 3/4", and 2 1/8". The bobs have the original protective cellophane coverings which the photo may show as having scratches, but once removed, the bob is perfect. There is a rear hand set knob. The movement has the standard "I" hand shaft, which is 3/4" overall length and 5/16" in diameter. This is an assortment of three gold charm bracelets and the original vintage display card for jewelry stores. All three were manufactured by the American Jewelry Chain Co. of Providence, Rhode Island. Each of these vintage bracelets is gold-filled, is a single-linked chain and measures 7 1/4" in length. They are new old stock and are in fine condition. The clasps are in good working order and each is hallmarked "1/20 12K." The display card originally held 12 charm bracelets with a variety of the sterling silver models. The display is a thick cardboard with a mat of blue-green felt. The board does show some wear but still displays very nicely. On the back of the board is a photo illustrating several of the bracelets included in this assortment, but in sterling silver.
