HISTORY: Kodiak's Yak Attack was purchased in Round Mountain, Texas from the renown George Haynes Ranch. He had spent years bucking in the PRCA before Roger Harris, of the Diamond H World Class Rodeo Productions purchased him.finally he was banned from most competitions in the area.

CHARACTERISTICS: Yak is a veteran of the rodeo arena, he knows all the tricks! He will attack only when he chooses to. He has attacked the tractor,the gator and numerous of unsuspecting cowboys! To him it is the thrill of the chase. he has no fear of anything or anyone. He is deadpan bland in his eyes and shows no emotion at all. You can never tell what he is planning. He is never intimidated or excited. The Yak can blow out of a chute and buck like a holy terror if a cowboy is really trying to ride him, but if he is just clutching, he spins and tries to hook him off his back while the ride is going on. But in the backpens, he's rough on everybody. When the gate opens he is a western Eliminator, the one thing you can count on with the Yak, if you ride him, you can be almost positive you have a check.

BEST TRIPS: He always gives it his all. If you bucked him over and over, he would be just as hard to ride the last time as the first time and a lot madder. You can see him at all Diamond H events...after all, where could you leave him?
