Age 7  (a) Can attend Creative Art, Electronics Art or Head Start sessions.
            (b) To attend other sessions you need permission from the Camp Director.
            (c) May attend Warbot camps only if you Have, Buy or Rent a working
                 KLC WarBot. Click Buy or Rent to see the options

Ages 8-17   May attend any session. The older campers will be separated from
                      the younger campers as much as possible.

Camp Registration: Not Open: Call 972-xxx-7850 Heights Park Center and give them the                 session name and catalog # from the weekly descriptions below Low enrollment: need 5, sign-up so others will do the same. Call your friends.                   If a session is cancelled (very rare) you can transfer or get a refund. If a session is full: ask to be put on the waiting list. When possible we add                 places and sometimes people cancel. E-mail me on Sunday to check. New projects & materials: Each year we add new projects to go with the                  old favorites. Have an old not working project - bring it to fix! Live far away: Get some friends together & carpool or spend a week in                   Dallas with a friend and bring that friend to camp! Qualifications to be a Helper:

* You must have been taught by me, have good basic electronics, patience & people
skills. I prefer mature, older (12+) helpers. Part of your pay is my training you to be
a leader, come to learn, not for the money! If you are not qualified, ask about being
a part time unpaid volunteer to gain needed experience.

* First priority - Experienced helper from past camps or someone with a car
           that can go for emergency parts (or food).
* Next priority - students from the advanced or Pre-Engr. class or that were
            helpers last year.
* Volunteers age 11+ work to gain experience and be trained, Volunteers that
           work hard will be compensated (paid)!
* Note: Helpers are not allowed to build projects, if you wish to attend a session
           just let me know in advance so I can replace you for that session,
            it will not cost you your job!
* Needed: Up to 4 helpers each week duties include set-up, helping as needed
          and clean-up. Hours 8:00 - 5:30. Arrangements can be made for certian
          times to come in late/leave early
*Send Resumes now! Give positions you would accept (Volunteer, part or full
          time helper) sessions you can come and your qualifications and sessions
          you can work? Pay ($30-50/session) is based on your age, knowledge,
           skills and experience. Send resume by e-mail or give it to me in class

Boys & girls of all ages say this is one of the best sessions all summer. Use basic skills to turn electrical and/or mechanical parts into exciting new shapes and designs. Build fun take-home projects using creative concepts and special techniques. Learn to express your creative talents and skills in a new way. Jun 14-18   #00000 Fun with Electronics:   (ages 8+)  ($130+40MF)
Learn unique techniques & skills that will help you build successful projects. You get to keep all the special things you make. Projects are available for beginner to advanced skill levels.
New kits & projects every summer plus the most popular old favorites. There will be over
40 projects available at all skill levels, beginner to expert. If new to electronics take 'Elec Art'
session first to learn basic skills. We will teach Basic skills to any who need it! Kits prices are $3 to $18, gifted builders may purchase extra kits or bring
your own. I have ordered some really neat new kits especially for experienced builders!

Come to build, modify or battle Warbots (new builders should attend this session). Up to 6 Warbots can battle at a time. Go to www.kinetic-learning-center.com ASAP to select Warbots. If you already have a WarBot then bring it
to repair, upgrade or modify & battle! If you just want to come & battle/play then there is no MF.  Order Warbot Kit ASAP, only a few of the 6 freq

July Camps

Jul 5-9  #00000   Things that Fly:   (ages 8+)   ($140+40MF, a favorite session ea yr)
We will build and launch all kinds of things that fly, float or glide through the air such as Acrobatic and Distance Power Gliders (go over 100 yds), Zingers, Water balloon 'Winger-Wars', Airplanes, Helicopters, rockets, gliders, UFO's & other Things-that-Fly projects will be available. You build and keep most of the designs. The R/C planes and Helicopters will be sold after the session. See the 2-liter Water Rocket that goes over 700 ft high!



Jul 12-16       #00000   Interactive Art:  (ages 7-16)   ($140+40MF)
Use metal & plastic benders to shape and form materials then add electrical circuits or parts for function! Design & build fantastic art projects that interact with the viewer! Learn creative concepts, tricks & adv techniques.
Learn to use a soldering iron and master basic soldering techniques while creating art! Solder,
melt, bend and twist new electrical parts and materials into creative fun take-home art. Learn
how to develop your creative talents and skills in a new way. On Homepage click on 'Pictures'
then select the group you wish to see. E-Art 2 session will have many special (& rare) items that
won't be offered in the E-Art 1 session! Those who are more advanced (Jim's decision) will be
taught to use the special Plastics and Metal 'Bending tools' to create unique art forms.

Jul 19-23   #00000Creative Projects: ($140+$30min)
Basic skills & soldering will be taught to those who need it. There are over 45 projects from beginner to expert skill levels. The list will show project cost and skill level. Materials Fee ($30 min) is the cost of the projects you select. Advanced students may bring your own projects &/or buy ours. If new to electronics we will teach you what you need to know. Gifted builders may purchase extra projects or bring your own.

Jul 26-30   #00000 RC Warbots   age rules   $140+$40MF
Build or modify a WarBot or if you already have one then bring it to repair, modify or battle! Note: Check out the Rent-a-Bot option! Order Place your order ASAP, only a few of the 6 freq cars left! This will be the last year of the 6-12 freq Warbots. No MF if you just come to battle/play.

Aug Camps

Aug 2-6   #00000   Fun & Games  $140+40MF
This will be a Fun week, there will be inside & outside activities! WiFi, PS3 challenges, projects include: MM-Cannons, Lazar Pistols, Break-Dancing tops, Rat-trap racers, Dodge ball, "Water Winger wars", Big screen BlueRay Movies and video games. Campers will keep most projects.

Aug 9-13   #00000  Things That Move   (ages 8+)   $140+40MF
We'll have R/C UFO's, Helicopters & Planes for camp use. We will build & launch all kinds of things that fly, float or glide through the air such as Hovercraft Power Gliders, Slingers, Airplanes and other objects - catapult any-one? You get to keep the projects you build. The R/C planes and Helicopters will be sold at my cost after the session. Rocket launches include my 2 liter Water Rocket that goes over 700 ft high!



Aug 16-20   #00000   Anything Goes Week   140+MF(est30) You may build anything ever offered in our camp or class sessions, If parts are available. I will bring all kinds of loose ends - too valuable to throw away but needing a new home - for you to select from. We will have a "Barter & Trade" day on Tues, to participate bring stuff others would want (not junk)! To request a special project E-mail me in adv so I can collect the parts. this may be my last camp in Richardson, if I move/stay Camp cost will go up next year. SMU has a similar but not hands-on camp for $850/week!



Aug 23-26  #00000    Fun With WarBots  age rules    $135+40MF
Build or modify an R/C vehicle into a WarBot. If you already have a WarBot then bring it to
repair, upgrade or modify & battle! If you just want to come & battle/play the session fee is
$135 (no MF).  Place your order ASAP, we only have a limited number of the 6 freq cars left! 
Note: age 7 can only attend if they have, buy or rent a working KLC Warbot! See Rental Rules.
Ages 8+ can built a WarBot or bring any KLC WarBot and just come to have fun. Any camper
can rent one of my Prototypes, see Rules above, for 1-Battery Charge (just for fun) or all day.
There will be WarBot Wars, Obstacle courses & special challenges, each day.
