US Marine Iwo Jima

Those who served in the US Marines should find this picture familiar. The art highlights two important Marine symbols, the silver and gold Marine emblem and the Iwo Jima Memorial. The excellent print is highlighted by skillful mat cutting that draws attention to the full color Marine patch and the official 3 cent Iwo Jima postage stamp which was issued on July 11, 1945. The hardwood framed picture, with glass, measures 15 1/2 by 12 1/2. It is matted using three mat colors and has a 1/8 inch cut-out line that highlights everything in the picture.
