SOLD OUT This picture measures 15 3/4 by 19 3/4 inches and is framed in solid oak. Three different mat colors are used to enhance the picture. The art work is a painting done by Norman Rockwell for the February 19, 1927 issue of the Saturday Evening Post Magazine. He entitled the picture "The Law Student". A young grocery clerk is inspired by President Lincoln's accomplishments and yearns to better himself by studying to be a lawyer. Included in this framed picture is a 2 inch goldtone metal emblem depicting the familiar attorney symbol of the blindfolded Lady Justice holding scales in one hand and a sword in the other. An added feature is a small wooden gavel only 2 inches long. The collector's First Day of Issue Cover celebrates the 75th Anniversary of the American Bar Association. This envelope and stamp are dated August 24, 1953. Completing the picture is the 3 cent American Bar Association postage stamp. SOLD OUT
