Diane Ilene Wentworth entered this life on September 23, 1963 in Ventura, California. She was born to Donald and Linda Packard Wentworth.Living in CA most of her life, she enjoyed Cooking and aspired to become a great chef, dancing, animals-especially horses, barbecues with friends, and sunsets.
For many years she worked as an activity director in convalescent homes and worked with in-home care patients with AIDs. She loved helping people and was always willing to lend a helping-hand whether asked by a friend or stranger. She was best known for her excellent cooking skills and fantastic meals. Her home, was always warm and open, ready for friends and family to drop in for a cup of coffee with good conversation. It was hard to leave her and Theda's home with out knowing you were in the presence of a witty, good natured, and charismatic woman.
After a long and hard fight against cancer, Diane entered eternal life on April 10, 2003, in the comfort of her own home and surrounded by her beloved sweetheart and companion of 17 years, Theda Vaughan and many of her cherished friends.
Left to cherish her memory is Theda; their children, Tara Vaughan, Wiggles Vaughan and Pinky the rat; her brothers, Mike and Adam; her grandmother, Jessie Packard; her Great Aunt & Uncle, Ruth and Warren; and many extended family members and friends.
At Diane's request, she will be cremated and will be kept at home with Theda.
A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2003 at 7:00 in the clubhouse at Del Prado Mobile Home Park, where Diane and Theda lived and enjoyed many happy years together.
